SS Great Britain | hh.mm
Our welcome reception will be held on the fabulous SS Great Britain – Isambard Kingdom Brunels engineering marvel, widely considered to be first modern ship. Docked in the city dominated by his other pioneering transport creations – the Clifton suspension bridge and the Great Western Railway.
We will have full access to the ship and the recently expanded museum which details the ships genesis, eventful career, salvage, and, restoration. The SS Great Britain is a short walk from the conference venue – but if you fancy saving your legs for later in the evening then a river taxi trip will let you absorb the ambience of the historic docks on the way.
The welcome reception free but the number of places is limited to 160. Don’t forget to book !
